Lightlife Foods, Inc. is looking for a full-time Maintenance Planner/Scheduler to support the Maintenance Department in providing technical planning, and scheduling for short and long-term objectives to ensure optimal maintenance effectiveness. This position’s major function is to work in collaboration with the maintenance department to plan inspections, repairs, modifications and continuous improvements plus provide administrative support.


  • Adhere to HAACP guidelines. SQF and Good Manufacturing Practices, following all sanitation and process procedures and guideline.
  • Aware of the maintenance department’s role in food safety and food quality.
  • Overall CMMS knowledge.
  • Site CMMS master data support (system administrator).
  • Plan maintenance work for maintenance technicians.
  • Manage work order backlog.
  • Develop SOPs, workflows, and Key Performance Indicators where required.
  • Manage data preservations/standards.
  • Perform data entry.
  • Ensure correct priorities are used on wok order requests.
  • Ensure resources (parts, tools, personnel) match plan.
  • Compile data for KPI’s.
  • Generate reports for management.
  • Create, review and modify PMs with CMMS.
  • Assemble parts kits.
  • Perform parts lookup.
  • Request storeroom items.
  • Responsible for equipment and facility record keeping.


  • Mechanical, Electrical, Engineering, or Technology education, and/or 5 years of related maintenance trade work experience is a must.
  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • Strong computer skills, familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel and Office skills.
  • CMMS experience preferred.
  • Prior planning/scheduling experience desired.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with internal customers, contractors, vendors and project managers.
  • Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
  • Ability to follow written policies, programs and SOP’s.
