Lightlife Foods, Inc. is looking for a Material Manager/Purchaser to work full-time, Monday – Friday from 7:30 am until 4:30 pm, and must be flexible to work from home on the weekends on an as-needed basis.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare purchasing orders (POS) for the Raw, and the Packaging materials according to the demand.
  • Follow up, review and reconcile Open Purchase Orders, and coordinate shipping in Receiving materials.
  • Assure incoming goods match purchase order quantity and items.
  • Work with warehouse for inventory issues.
  • Monitor conversion from one supplier to a new one or the conversion of changing a new material in to the company.
  • Find profitable suppliers and initiate business and organization partnerships.
  • Examine existing contracts and maintain keep track of usage/consumption quantities, and expired dates.
  • Negotiate better pricing.
  • Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness.
  • Coordinate all received goods are stored into proper locations in inventory, both physically and electronically.
  • Complete all necessary paperwork on the day of activity.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • Good computer skills, excellent knowledge of Microsoft especially Excel.
  • SAP knowledge is preferred.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with internal customers, contractors, and vendors.
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to follow written policies, programs and SOP’s.
