Baked Chili Ziti

What you'll need: 

1 large onion, chopped
1 shallot, chopped
12 oz. Lightlife Smart Ground Original
1 28 oz. cans crushed tomatoes
1 6 oz. can tomato paste
1 4.5 oz. can chopped green chiles
2 tablespoons chili powder
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
2 teaspoons ground cumin
2 teaspoons coriander
2 teaspoons (packed) minced canned chipotle chiles in adobo sauce*
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
1 15.25 oz can red kidney beans, rinsed and drained
1 15 oz. can black beans, rinsed and drained
1 12 oz. stout beer
1 lb. cooked pasta
4 cups cheddar cheese

How to make it: 

Heat oil in a large heavy sauce pan over medium-high heat, stir and cook onions and shallots until soft and translucent, about 5 minutes. Stir in Smart Ground and remaining ingredients and bring chili to a boil, stirring occasionally. Reduce heat and simmer 20 minutes, stirring often. Season with salt and pepper.
Place half of pasta into a casserole pan and layer with half of cheese and chili. Continue to layer with remaining ingredients. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes. *Optional: Serve with corn chips and green onions.
